Scusate, avevo dimenticato di specificare, il linguaggio è JAVA.
Non ottengo nessun vantaggio da questo cast, mi serve perchè devo creare un webserver che deve restituire immagini "tagliate" a un browser. E il webserver quando rimanda le immagini le ottiene e le rimanda come tipo "File". Ma per editare un'immagine con swt occorre usare il tipo Image.
