Problema con Alice 4 mega

Salve a tutti, è il mio primo post in questo forum.

Da qualche giorno mi è stato attivato l'upgrade ad Alice 4 mega.
Premetto che uso un modem usb WebPower, e ho controllato la portante, effettivamente risulta 4832/320.

Il problema è che la mia linea si comporta come se fosse una vecchia 1.2 mega, la mia velocità in download non supera mai i 160 Kb/s, mentre in upload non ci sono problemi.

Facendo un test sul sito helpadsl.it questi sono i risultati:

Velocità della linea misurata:

1563.8 Kbps

191.6 Kbytes/sec


Qualcuno è in grado di darmi una mano?

Per curiosità ho provato a collegarmi con un router Conexant, i risultati del test non cambiano, ma sembrerebbe che ci siano errori, come riportato di seguito:

innanzitutto segui questa guida:

e setta rwin mss*176
poi rifai il test, magari prova un download da server veloce come microsoft.
l'attenuazione è alta ma se riesce ad aggrappare la portante alla massima velocità il problema può limitarsi a qualche errore.

E' abbastanza normale che prima venga attivata la portante e solo successivamente abilitata la 4M, occorre aspettare, però nel tuo caso la linea é molto disturbata e il trasferimento dati pieno di errori: probabilmente alla fine dei lavori ti troverai una portante più bassa di 4832.......

Dai test effettuati su speedguide risulta questo:

MSS is optimized for PPPoE DSL broadband. If not, consider raising MTU to 1500 for maximum throughput.

Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 17424
RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 0 bits
Unscaled Receive Window = 17424

RWIN is a multiple of MSS
Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:
511104 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 8)
255552 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 4)
127776 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 2)
63888 (MSS x 44)
bandwidth * delay product (Note this is not a speed test):

Your RcvWindow limits you to: 696.96 kbps (87.12 KBytes/s) @ 200ms
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 278.784 kbps (34.848 KBytes/s) @ 500ms
Consider increasing your RWIN value to optimize TCP/IP for broadband.

Ho provato a settare l'mtu a 1500 utilizzando drtcp e riavviando il pc, ma l'mtu rimane sempre a 1492. Tutto ciò utilizzando il modem usb.

Penso di essere arrivato alla conclusione che non si tratti di "rubinetti aperti" visto che dopo il test su mc-link la velocità con il router risulta essere di 2447/261.
Credo che il problema sia nel MTU che non riesco a cambiare... sia col modem usb che col router...
