First you use PC S**t copy the messages en-masse onto your PC. They will appear as binary .VMG files.
Then use convertvmg.exe to convert them as you like .
It is most useful to convert them into a single .CSV (comma separated values) file, that you can then open with any text or spreadsheet app like excel.
If you use excel, be careful that excel acts weird with values with more than 255 chars . (messages appear truncated at 255 chars)
US users, be careful that it outputs rest-of-the-world style dates in the CSV: DD MM YYYY
