ho cambiato completamente il ppp.conf, cosi:

default:

pppoe:
set device "!/usr/sbin/pppoe -i em0"
set mtu max 1492
set mru max 1492
set speed sync
disable acfcomp protocomp
deny acfcomp
set authname "myUsername"
set authkey "myPassword"

faccio
# ifconfig em0 up
#ppp pppoe

ppp ON openbsdisbest>

lampeggia la lucina della lan sul modem ma se provo a pingare www.html.it, non funge!!
