Chiedo vostro aiuto perche non riesco a settare bene RWIN.
ho seguito le tue dritte in prima pagina, ma non riesco a settarla al meglio.

questo è come ho settato TCPOtimizer

Pur non essendo il massimo i parametri effettivi MTU e RWIN non è giustificabile un download di 8 KB/s! Sicuramente sei in wholesale mi viene da dire...in ogni caso ci sono dei problemi a monte! Sarebbe meglio avere MTU a 1500 e RWIN a 256960 ma nel tuo caso non so se cambierebbe qualcosa.

non ho ben capito se RWIN = 256960 può andare bene x me o se questo valore è troppo alto nel mio caso.

Un'altra curiosità: nella prima pagina ho letto del RASPPOE più performante del pppoe. Il mio è un modem usb (è l' Hamlet HDSL640 usb) e fino ad ora l'ho sempre usato con pppoa. In teoria però il modem supporta anche il protocollo pppoe.
Vorrei quindi sapere se è possibile nel mio caso installare il rasppoe e far funzionare il modem con questo, o se una cosa del genere non è fattibile.

Non ti converrebbe usare il PPPoE neanche con rasPPPoE...il PPPoA più performante. MTU è ottimo, RWIN devi assolutamente alzarlo e nel tuo caso va bene 256960.
