[linux-atracta]

Salve a tutti, sono nuova a questo forum.

Vorrei installare Slacky 10.18 sul secondo HD che è libero.
Sul primo HD ho XP, Ubuntu e 15 GB in Fat32.
Il tutto è governato da GRUB.

Ora volendo mettere Slacky con LILO non so come fare, ossia dove sistemare LILO.

Ringrazio l'anima gentile che si prenderà cura di me.

non devi installare lilo o comunque installando slack installalo nella sua partizione

poi una volta installata basta aggiungere una voce a grub di ubuntu che provvedera a caricarla

ad esempio io uso



title slack (on /dev/hda11)
root (hd0,10)
kernel /boot/vmlinuz root=/dev/hda11 ro
savedefault
boot

se il tuo disco ad esempio è hdb1 dovrai mettere

root (hd1,0) semplicemente

Se il secondo hd è libero la prima partiz diventa /dev/hdb1
Per cui lo scrip da aggiungere al menu.lst di grub, con lilo slak installato nella sua partiz. d'avvio /dev/hdb1 diventa:

mi devi scusare, non so perchè ma su hdb1 non si installava, causa la mia inesperienza.
Per cortesia vedi questo mio menu.lst di Grub x intero e dimmi dove andare a completare.
