Chiedo scusa se mi intrometto (e se non sono riuscito a leggermi tutte le 115 pagine del thread) ma, valutata la mia situazione attraverso http://www.speedguide.net/analyzer.php ho scoperto di avere dei settaggi adsl da schifo.

Di seguito le prove:

Facendo due calcoli la giusta configurazione per una adsl Alice 640kbps dovrebbe essere più o meno questa:

MTU = 1480 (ho winxp, non credo sia possibile cambiarlo)
MSS =  1440 

Default TCP Receive Window (RWIN) = 31680 (quasi raddoppiata; ottenuta moltiplicando 1440 x 22)

Domando:
- I miei calcoli sono corretti? C’è qualcosa che modifichereste per raggiungere la configurazione ideale?
- Dal momento che i calcoli sono stati fatti su una banda 640kbps che a breve (si spera) Telecom dovrebbe portare a 2mb, cosa accadrà dopo l’aggiornamento? Dovrò reimpostare tutto? Se sì con quali valori?
