Problemi di connessione al videoproiettore con SUSE10.1

Ho recentemnte installato la SUSE10.1 sul mio PC portatile (un DELL LATITUDE C840) con scheda grafica NVidia GeForce4 440.

Tutto bene, ma come mi era già capitato in passato con altre distribuzioni, quando collego il PC ad un proiettore mediante uscita VGA, non riesco a visualizzare nulla sul proiettore (appaiono soltanto delle linee colorate informi).

Spulciando qua e là, mi sembra di aver capito che dovrebbe dipendere dalla configurazione del file xorg.conf, che

Se non ho capito male, dovrei aggiungere qualcosa una seconda Section "Monitor".
E' così? Devo fare anche altre cose oppure dovrebbe essere sufficiente?

Non credo che il problema derivi dal monitor, ma dalla sk video... io proverei col semplice aggiornamento dei driver.
