Da linux senza download manager scarico a 480kb/s...da windows senza dm a 250...con download manager riesco a raggiungere i 480lo stesso....per questo penso sia un problema di questi parametri.

Mi potete dire in base ai dati che ho fornito quale mtu devo inserire in drtcp? ho PPPoE

Prova ad impostare i dati sia sul router che su computer usando questo programma: Link

Vai su custom settings seleziona la scheda di rete della tua connessione internet (puoi modificare anche più schede contemporaneamente) e copia esattamente tutti i dati dell'immagine sottostante (ricordati però di impostare prima sul router PPPoA):

grazie loco. Ho cambiato in pppoa sul router...ho impostato mtu a 1500 e mss a 1460...e sul router nessun problema. Ho provato a mettere i settaggi che m hai detto tu con tcp optimizer e la situazione ora è questa:

non riesco a schiodarla!! ho provato anche con drtcp...ma nulla. Come posso cambiare i valori?

facendo dei test ho capito una cosa..che il valore di mtu cambia solo se lo cambio sulle impostazioni del router. Nel pc posso impostare come voglio ma quando poi vado a vedere sul sito non cambia niente.

Ho notato che se metto mtu a 1492 sul sito dice 1472
se metto pppoa a 1500 sul sito mette a 1480...

allora ho pensato ad un bug...metto a 1520...oppure 1512...ma da valori stranissimi...tipo 1486.

Qualcuno dei piu esperti m aiuta a risovlere questa situazione? ho un pirelli age.

boh comunque non è un problema di configurazione del router. Ho 3 pc in rete...2 windows xp e un linux. Dall'altro windows xp che ho qui vicino senza download manager dal sito debian.fastweb vado a 490...da questo pc da cui vi scrivo ora ( quello che uso di piu ) vado a 150...qualcuno mi aiuta gentilmente?
