Validazione V3C controllo ImageMap

Ciao a tutti!! sto realizzando un sito web e quando sono andato a fare la validazione del codice W3C ho avuto questo errore sul cotrollo Imagemap:

Line 46 column 345: required attribute "id" not specified.

The attribute given above is required for an element that you've used, but you have omitted it. For instance, in most HTML and XHTML document types the "type" attribute is required on the "script" element and the "alt" attribute is required for the "img" element.

<script>.

Prova a impostare

<xhtmlConformance mode="Strict" />

nel web.config.
Se non funzia devi fare l'override del render.
