Perchè lo script genera Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_strtoupper() se la versione di php installata è la 5.2.2?

onestamente non ne ho idea, ma ti confermo che è un probelma comune perchè anche a me non va (ho appena provato sulla 5.2.1)

PS: non è che è un'estensione che va decommentata nel php.ini? non ho mai usato questa famiglia di funzioni
