Backup automatizzato DB MySQL.

Ho installato MySQL 5 su di un serverino domestico. Sopra vi gira un database di un server di gioco. Come posso fare a far si che tutte le mattine, alle 5.30, il pc faccia un backup o su di un altro hd o sul mio dominio web?

Tutto perfetto, ma ho solo una domanda, da profano di DB. Il DB è relativo ad un server di gioco on-line, quindi ha centinaia di accessi al minuto. Tra queste opzioni:

qual'è quella che permette di non fermare il database mentre si esegue il backup, in modo da non far piantare il gameserver? Cioè, c'è un'opzione cha lavora mentre si sta accedendo al database?

While this can have less impact on the actions of users during the backup operation, these is a potential for tables to be backed up in an inconsistent state in relation to one another. This method is not recommended unless the risk of inconsistency is minimal.
