Basta che digiti il nome del programma installato (ovviamente tutto in minuscolo) e parte. Se non dovesse partire vuol dire, o che si chiama in un modo diverso, o che non c'è il link in /usr/bin

se non si avvia il tuo programma spiega meglio da dove arriva, cosa hai fatto, bla bla bla...

ho provato a lanciarlo da temrinale digitando xwpe ma mi dice command not found

io l'ho istalalto seguendo la guida ma non parte.

ho digitato ./configure per istallare ed è andato tutto bene.

ecco la guida:

To compile this package:

1. Configure the package for your system. In the directory that this
file is in, type `./configure'. If you're using `csh' on an old
version of System V, you might need to type `sh configure' instead to

The `configure' shell script attempts to guess correct values for
various system-dependent variables used during compilation, and
creates the Makefile. It also creates a file `config.status'
that you can run in the future to recreate the current configuration.

By default, xwpe files will be installed in the /usr/local directories.
You can specify an installation prefix other than /usr/local by giving

mail diffs or instructions to the address given in the README so we
can include them in the next release.

2. Type `make' to compile the package.

3. Type `make install' to install programs, data files, and
documentation. (For german-speaking people: Type `make install_german'
to install programs, data files and german documentation)

4. You can remove the program binaries and object files from the
source directory by typing `make clean'.

mi sono dimenticato di dare make e make install.

il problema persiste, mi da errore su make install

che distribuzione usi?
credo che hai ottime probabilita' di trovarlo gia' pronto e pacchettizzato per il tuo sistema.

in base alla distribuzione che usi, documentati su come si installano facilmente (1, max 2 click) i programmi con linux...

se hai ubuntu feisty apri un terminale, copia questa riga

sudo apt-get install xwpe

e lancia di nuovo il tuo programma quando ha finito.
E ti risparmi tutto il casino di prima
