    Problemi nella configurazione di snort

    Salve a tutti, ho scaricato la versione di 2.8 di snort ma al momento della sua configurazione sulla mia distribuzione Ubunto 7.10 mi compare un messaggio di errore:

    snort è regolarmente presente nei repository di ubuntu, quindi per installarlo basta che vai su Sistema=>Amministraione=>Gestore pacchetti, da li cerchi snort, e te lo installi cliccandoci sopra e selezionando "Marca per l'installazione". Poi clicchi su applica e il programma è installato

    Su synaptic c'è la versione 2.706 e fornisce diversi repository tra cui: snort, snort-common, snort-common-libraries, etc.. che faccio le attivo tutte?

    marca solo la snort poi synaptic ti installa le dipendenze

    Fatto, sunaptic mi ha installato ma non lo vedo nel menù delle Applicazioni!
