problema con lyx

non riesco a creare i pdf.
dopo aver editato il documento dal menu faccio:
Vista->PDF(dvipdfm)

e mi compare una finestra in cui c'e' scritto:
"E' stato generato un output vuoto."

come mai? devo scaricare qualche paccheto opportuno?

hai provato a dare il comando da un terminale e vedere che succede più in dettaglio????
