Non ci sono grandi differenze prendine uno usb 2.0 adesso li fanno con gli spinotti dentro con diverse interfacce ata sata ecc ecc cosi eventualmente utilizzi l' hdd che ti capita per le mani...
Per linux non ho mai avuto problemi e ne ho sperimentati parecchi...

si nei negozi domandano intorno a 30 euro pure io sono andato in cerca con un amico di un box per lui e in negozio gli hanno sparato dai 29.90 in su...se hai voglia di trafficare con ebay prendilo su ebay altrimenti buttati su un negozio...
Comunque anche se lo trovi per 15 su ebay con spedizione a 10 euro risparmi 5 euri e hai sbattimenti di bonifico ecc ecc...
Stessa cosa se vai a una fiera 7 euro di ingresso 10 o 15 di box 17/22 euro se ne vanno...

se non ci sono pulsanti di spegnimento puoi tranquillamente togliere l'alimentazione una volta smontata la/e partizione/iOriginariamente inviato da moskitoita

si si staccalo pure se lo hai smontato il disco puo essere che giri ancora ma la testina che legg sul disco è in posizione di "standby" chiamiamolo cosi...
