[UBUNTU]cercare pacchetti in rete

Ciao.
Esiste un modo automatico di installare pacchetti dalla rete?
o bisogna prima scatricarli poi installarli?
Il problema per me è la catena delle dipendenze del pacchetto , ci si mette un sacco di tempo a trovare tutti i file giusti.

in ubuntu (come in molte altre distro) per instrallare i pacchetti c'è un apposito gestore che scarica da internet il pacchetto con tutte le dipendenze e lo installa semplicemente con click sul nome del programma. Lo trovi in Sistema-->amministrazione-->gestore pacchetti synaptic

Ho fatto come mi hai detto:
Il problema è che l'ho lanciato 20 m fa e ancora non ha finito , anzi è a 7 su 32.
E' possibile che ci metta cosi' tanto tempo?
Nel dettaglio mi da' deinomi di url con status=failed!
Ma non si schioda da 7 su 32.

cambia indirizzo alle repositri nel sources.list , i server italiani sono ancora intasati .
Puoi farlo da synaptic , ti da un ampia scelta di repositry da poter provare.
Impostalo per i server di esat. , il download è velocissimo.

ho provato a copiare il file ma non va
c'è qualcosa da ricaricare refresh vari ...?
Se vedo la data del file mi segna le 7:30 CEST di oggi , ma sono le 20:40!?
ps. uso ubuntu 7.

se usi la versionee 7.10 , non devi copiare di sana pianta questo sorcio io sono con hardy.

nella tabella dei server delle repositri disponibili di synaptic , le repositry di esat.net ci sono , le selzioni da li , ci pensa da se il gestore ad aggiornare il sources.list
