ieri ho installato su un portatile che uso pochissimo, il so ubuntu 8.10 wubi per provare e iniziare ad utilizzarlo.
ho finito l'installazione all'avvio devido di utilizzare ubuntu mi carica qualche istante e mi compare la videata:
choice 1:if you have windows the disconect the external device bycliching on the safely remove haedware icon in the windows taskbar then shutdown windows cleanly.
choice 2:if you don't have windows then you can use the force option for your own responsability.for example type on the command line:
mount-t ntfs-3g /dev/sda1 /root -0 force
or add the option the relevant row in the /etc/fstab file:
/dev/sda1 /root ntfs-3g force 0 0
could not mount the partition /dev/disk/by-uuid/a8c85204c851d0e4. this could als o happene if the file system is not clean because of on operating system crash, an interrupted boot process, an improper shutdown,or unplugging of a removable device without first unmonting or ejecting it.to fix this,symply reboot into windows, let it fully start, log in, run chkdsk /r , then gracefully shut down and reboot back into windows.after this you should be able to reboot again and resume the installation. (filesystem= ntfs,error code=15)
