    Linux e dischi in pausa

    Ho una domanda da porvi...
    A livello fisico un disco è meglio che giri sempre o ha piu usura durante lo spegnimento e conseguente avvio??

    Perche' per risparmio di corrente e per evitare una rottura del disco vorrei dopo un tot di tempo mettere in pausa un disco che uso solo ogni tanto per leggere qualche dato in una condivisione file samba.
    In modo che se per 10 minuti il disco non viene utilizzato si spegne e appena c' è una richiesta da parte da qualche servizio di leggere o scrivere questo di accende..

    Seconda domanda...

    Come si pausano i dischi? basta che mi date un comando o un nome poi mi cerco le info anche da solo...
