Ciao a tutti.
Non riesco a capire come strutturare un url rewriting.

Il mio host ha questa struttura:
>html
>> css
>> pages
>> images
>> js
>> .htaccess

Il dominio punta naturalmente al contenuto della directory html. Qui si aspetta il file index.php.
Il mio file index.php invece si trova nella directory pages. Io vorrei mantenere questa struttura e fare un redirect o simili alla pages/index.php, senza però vedere un url tipo http://www.pippo.it/pages/index.php ma semplicemente http://www.pippo.it.
Come posso fare?
