Can't connect to local MySQLserver through socket/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock

Ciao a tutti,

ho riavviato il pc e il server MySQL non mi e' ripartito a causa di questo errore :

error: 'Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2)'

come risolvo ? grazie.

ho dato i comandi postati nel link che hai detto,ecco cosa succede :

marietto@marietto2009:~$ sudo /etc/init.d/mysql stop
* Stopping MySQL database server mysqld [ OK ]
marietto@marietto2009:~$ sudo /etc/init.d/mysql start
* Starting MySQL database server mysqld [ fail ]
marietto@marietto2009:~$ sudo /etc/init.d/mysql restart
* Stopping MySQL database server mysqld [ OK ]
* Starting MySQL database server mysqld [ fail ]

leggi i log per vedere cosa è andato storto...
