    reboot non va

    Ciao a tutti,
    ho un problema....quando da scrivania/utente (ubuntu 9.10) eseguo il cmd riavvia, il pc rimane acceso (solo il monitor si spegne) Essendo un nuovo utente linux alle prime armi vi chiedo un parere sulla possibile causa. Se può essere utile sul pc di alcuni anni fa ho montato una scheda video radeon sapphire 9250 64bit pci bus version. Il comando arresta sembra ok e inoltre (dopo essermi un pò documentato) e provato altre opzioni da terminale come reboot init 6 ecc il risultato non cambia. Grazie

    Se il monitor si spenge il problema è nella gestione dell' alimentazione , non certo della scheda grafica.

    Senza bisogno di tutta la pappardella , te lo dice chiaramente sulle prime 4 righe che è APM bios .
    Piuttosto datato come PC.

    nel senso cosa mi consigli di fare ....posso in casi estremi creare una riga di comando?
    o agire su risparmio energetico...non saprei

    apri il terminale e scrivi

    sudo gedit /etc/modules

    aggiungi alla fine del file la riga:

    apm power_off=1

    salviamo a riavviamo e il tutto si dovrebbe essere risolto.
