Devo modificare un Javascript per Iframe ma chiedo agli esperti

Un saluto a tutti. Vi incollo quì di seguito il codice Java che permette ad un Iframe di adattare la sua altezza in base al contenuto che viene inserito. Avrei bisogno di capire come mai in firefox funziona perfettamente e su internet explorer l'altezza invece non si adatta.
C'è la possibilità di modificare parte di questo codice in modo che possa funzionare con entrambi i browser?
Ringrazio anticipatamente tutti i geni della programmazione Javascript, perchè io sono davvero un niubbo in questo campo.
