[MySQL] auto_increment che succede quando i numeri finiscono?

Dato un campo definito come

id INT UNSIGNED AUTO_INCREMENT

questo accetterà numeri fino a 4.294.967.295

Un numero bello grosso ok, ma che accade quando ci sarebbe da aggiungere la entry 4.294.967.296?

When the column reaches the upper limit of the data type, the next attempt to generate a sequence number fails. For example, if you use TINYINT, the maximum permissible sequence number is 127. For TINYINT UNSIGNED, the maximum is 255.
