Creare utente mysql

Ciao a tutti,recentemente ho installato sul mio computer il server mysql,fin qui tutto bene,ma quando ho cercato di creare un utente ho riscontrato seri problemi.Ecco qui la shell dei comandi con tutte le istruzioni che ho utilizzato per cercare di creare l' account:

/usr/local/mysql/bin/mysql -v

In che cosa ho sbagliato?Perché mi compare l' errore alla fine?Grazie in anticipo

Entra come root:

mysql -uroot -p
(poi ti chiede la password e tu la scrivi)

poi crea gli utenti che ti servono con i permessi che ti servono.
