    ubu 12.10 - click del client manda in tilt connessione

    salve a tutti
    Frequenti sconnessioni mi impediscono la regolare fruizione di internet. Il problema si manifesta anche in assenza di "attività" (apparente !!??) del pc.
    Avendo tuttavia notato che:
    - in presenza di "attività" il fenomeno si intensifica notevolmente (per numero e frequenza delle sconnessioni);
    - in due diversi client (win) il fenomeno non si manifesta;
    comincio a pensare che il problema possa risiedere nella scheda di rete o nell'improvvisa carenza di memoria disponibile del pc ubuntu in uso;

    quali comandi posso dare da termiale per avere un quadro chiaro del funzionamente della scheda di rete o sull'uso di memoria?

    grazie anticipate

    - cade proprio la rete? (il router rimane su, no?)

    quando accade controlla se trovi messaggi particolari:
    dmesg
    /var/log/syslog

    - usi dns o IP fisso?

    p.s.
    che driver usi per la ethernet?
    lo vedi da: lspci -v

    la parte relativa all'Ethernet

    la scheda di rete la vedi da: ifconfig

    la memoria da: free

    - ma questo problema e' uscito fuori da poco? hai aggiornato qualcosa?

    - quando cade.... riavvii la rete tu a mano o si riavvia da se?

    - cosa usi per gestire la rete? networkmanager?
