Sono nuovo!!!!
Non me ne intendo moltissimo di tecnologia adsl
comunque volevo chiedervi se secondo voi posso migliorare le prestazioni della mia connessione con qualche programma oppure
modificando l' mtu!
Vi dico che io ho Windows Xp professional
navigo con alice da circa 4 giorni e in genere quando scarico i programmi il download mi va a 30 - 31 kb/sec
Mi sembra un ottimo valore voi che dite???

Devo dirti che in sti risultati non ci capisco una mazza
mi puoi spiegare poi mi consiglia di aumentare la mtu e varie cose come faccio

Ale, ma con Drtcp non riesci a modificare l'mtu?? Hai riavviato dopo aver cambiato i parametri?? Cmq Alered l'rwin mi sembra bassino, lo porterei min. a MSS X 12, cioé a 17280 se non riesci a cambiare l'mtu altrimenti a 17520!!

X Daddy, mi sa che col PPPoE e win Xp non puoi aumentare l'mtu a 1492 (ideale x il pppoe)! Dovresti usare il raspppoe.

niente da fare l' MTU non me lo cambia però ho portato le modifiche che mi hai detto ed è migliorata!!!
