Ottimizzare ALICE sotto linux

ciao a tutti, sono in lan, e sia che da windows e linux
non riesco mai a superara 30kb/s stabili
ecco il risultato del test per vedere i valori (questo è fatto da windows xp, dato che linux è solo gateway e tiene la connessione)

ciao, per la storia del setup del sistema linux, ti faccio sapere dopo...

comunque
devi modificare il valore di mtu che è troppo basso.
se usi un usb devi metterlo a 1500, se hai un ethernet a 1492
il resto è ok!
comunque 30k/s stabili è già un bel risultato.
prova prima a fare un test su help.virgilio.it/velox prima e dopo le modifiche al mtu

ho ethernet, ho provato a mettere 1492 ma non lo modifica!
(ho usato tcp/ip opt. che sa su speedguide)
per quel che riguarda tin.it da 256/260kbit di banda
ma in download non supero sti 30kb/s, infatti su dslreport
mi da 245kbit di banda

Non c'è nessuno che può ottimizzare anche il sitema Mac os X (basato su unix)?

ok allora, scaricati raspppoe che funziona molto, ma molto meglio delle connessioni create con il pppoe di xp.
per tutte le info sul raspppoe fatti un ricercuccia sul forum e trovi tutto!

la connessione è sotto linux (gateway)
quel test è stato fatto da win (client)

quindi usi linux come gataway.....
bhe ricontrolla che la scheda di rete di win abbia mtu a 1500.
poi setta sulle schede di rete o sulla connesisone di linux mtu a 1500

comunque ripeto che 30k/s sono già un bel risultato!
