Google introduce lo "stemming"

"Word Variations (Stemming)

Google now uses stemming technology. Thus, when appropriate, it will search not only for your search terms, but also for words that are similar to some or all of those terms. If you search for "pet lemur dietary needs", Google will also search for "pet lemur diet needs", and other related variations of your terms. Any variants of your terms that were searched for will be highlighted in the snippet of text accompanying each result."

La versione italiana delle pagine di help non è stata ancora aggiornata con questa novità.

Sono molto incuriosito da quel "when appropriate".

Se fanno come per gli AdWords, che hanno iniziato ad essere esposti anche per sinonimi delle parole cercate, ne vedremo delle belle.
Ad esempio: cercando "piattaforme aeree", adesso saltano fuori anche i banner AdWords delle "compagnie aeree"!
E finchè si tratta di parole inglesi ancora ancora, ma quando si entra nell'italiano i "sininomi" per Google non ci beccano molto.

un po' ot... google ha introdotto anche la calcolatrice... provate a mettere 2+2

lo stemming... non ho capito se e' la stessa cosa dei sinonimi di qualche tempo fa... dovevi aggiungere la tilde davanti alla parola; peccato che non andava.
