ma se metto in Section "Device"
Identifier "ATI Radeon 7000"
mi dà degli errori in XF86Config all'avvio di X come posso risolvere?

l'identifier che cambi nella sezione device deve essere cambiato e messo uguale anche nella sezione screen.. controlla che sia così



cmq cambiare l'identifier nn è essenziale per avere l'acc. 3d.. l'importante è mettere come driver "radeon", decommentare
load dri e mettere in section DRI mode 0666
