perche' quando parte gnome,mi da questo errore ?

could not lookup internet address for carloo. this will prevent gnome from operating correctly. it may be possible to correct the problem by adding carloo to the file /etc/hosts.

naturalmente ho fatto quello che mi ha detto,ma l'errore insiste e persiste. ciao.

non molto, ma mi sembra di aver letto da qualche altra parte di un problema del genere, e mi sembra che suggerissero questa cosa.

al localhost si attribuisce solitamente il nome della macchina. Scaramanzia credo.
