Aterm: can't open slave tty (null)

Quando provo a lanciare aterm, ricevo il msg d'errore come da oggetto:

aterm: can't open slave tty (null)
Segmentation fault

Gentoo, Kernel 2.6.3, aterm 0.4.2-r8

non so se ti può essere utile, ho trovato questo in google:

Not sure what it's looking for.. it seems every X11 Terminal app out there
wants something different.  Your best friend in this will be strace.

strace -o ~/aterm-log aterm

Then, you should be able to see exactly what device aterm is trying to
read/open/stat/etc, create it, live happily.
