problema coi sorgenti

Ciao a tutti.

Ho un problemino con la compilazione dei sorgenti:
premetto che la compilazione con l'emerge funziona
tranquillamente ma quando cerco di compilare qualche sorgente
a mano il ./configure di dice questo:

-bash: ./configure: /bin/sh: bad interpreter: Permission denied

se invece do sh configure il risultato è questo:

checking build system type... i686-pc-linux-gnu
checking host system type... i686-pc-linux-gnu
checking target system type... i686-pc-linux-gnu

dice che non trova il compilatore ! Sicuro di aver installato tutto il supporto per lo sviluppo !?

certo! altrimenti come farebbe il portage a compilare i
pacchetti
Il fatto è che il portage compila tutto normalmente ma quando
devo compilare io qualcosa a mano mi da quel problema.
E poi è strano, è successo all'improvviso qualche giorno fa
però non ricordo in che momento preciso o cosa fosse stata la
causa.
