Ciao a tutti...

ho un pc con una scheda TV della "pinnacle system".
Ho installato mandrake10 ufficiale, stata riconosciuta, che prog. devo usare per poter vedere la TV.

Scusate, ma sono alle prime armi....

ho provato tvtime, mi apparsa una schermata blu
ma ho la possibilit di conf.

Uhm...
Come hai fatto a dire che stata riconosciuta?
Anch'io ho una pinnacle, ma posso utilizzarla senza
problemi solo con kernel >= 2.6
Ecco come viene 'riconosciuta' sulla mia macchina.

Ho editato il post evidenziando il problema fondamentale
di queste schede pinnacle.
Dopo il mese di aprile 2003 (mi pare) in commercio sono state
distribuite schede con una versione aggiornata del chip,
conseguenza il tuner non viene riconosciuto.
Non si tratta di un MT2032, bens di un MT2050 (vado a memoria).

Se apri un terminale e digiti "dmesg | less" leggiti attentamente
i messaggi relativi alla scheda TV, poi postali per i commenti.
Posta anche "/sbin/lspci | grep -i multimedia"

scusa, prova da root:
# lspci
ti restituisce una lista del tuo HW

Con dmesg, copia qui solo la parte relativa alla scheda TV
se presente sullo schermo. Mal che vada prova a farlo
appena riavviato, oppure, meglio ancora, consulta il
file /var/log/messages.
