Xfce4 e Gdesklets

Ho installato con swaret gdesklets 0.26, poi ho provveduto a installare anche RSS-grab, fin qui tutto bene.

Ho scompattato il *.tar.gz con "tar xvzf" e ho letto che per installare RSS-grab basta dare "./Install.[...].bin".

Il sensore risulta installato correttamente, quindi mi sono stupito quando ho dato:

sh-2.05b$ gdesklets &

ed è saltato fuori questo:

io l'ho installato ieri a casa e mi ha funzionato a meraviglia , ho provato a installarlo qui in ufficio , sempre da synaptic e mi da come errore " unable found gconf module" ??!?!?!?!?!

una volta dato l'install.bin bisogna richiamare il relativo display creato.

Quindi prima di lanciare gdesklets devi aggiungere il display alla lista di quelli che verranno lanciati.
Faccio prima a fare un esempio:

Accidenti! Ho visto nel topic la mia schermata centinaia di volte Xfce con Gdesklets e ora che uso questo WM non riesco a far funzionare questa interessante utilità.

Ma se ho Slackware9.1 con Xfce4, che è gnome-compatibile, come mai gdesklets dà quell'errore?

E' questo che non capisco.

Dando un'occhiata in giro mi sono accorto che altri slacker hanno riscontrato lo stesso problema, che sembra sia legato a Dropline GNOME, che ho installato.

Come si risolve?
