Ciao a tutti!
Sto provando ad installare la slack su un vecchio pc:
CPU: AMD 486DX 120MHz
RAM: Simm 16Mb
Floppy 3½"
HardDisk 200Mb
Scheda rete: RealTek
Audio: Scheda PCI 16-bit
Video: Elsa-Virge 2Mb
Mouse: Seriale 3 tasti
Tastiera: PS-2 (vecchio, era PS-1?)
Ho creato 4 dischetti di avvio:
bare.i
install.1
install.2
network.dsk
Creo le mie partizioni in questo modo:
/dev/hda1 --> /boot [5MB]
/dev/hda2 --> swap [32MB]
/dev/hda3 --> / [150MB]
/dev/hda4 --> /home [quello che rimane]
Quando è ora di installare via NFS:
IP: 192.168.0.4
netmask: 255.255.255.0
gateway: 192.168.0.1 (IP router)
IP_SERVER_NFS: 207.173.172.131 (ftp.slackware.com)
SOURCE_DIRECTORY: ftp://207.173.172.131/pub/slackware/slackware-10.0/
Il mountinf della risorsa remota va in timeout
segnalandomi quest'errore:
Configuring ethernet card...
eth0: link up, 100Mbps, full-duplex, lpa 0x45E1
Configuring your gateray...
Running /sbin/rpc.portmap...
Mounting NFS...
mount: RPC: Port mapper failure - RPC: Unable to receive
[viene mostrata il tabella delle partizioni montate]
(If you see errors above and the mount table doesn't show yout NFS
server, then try setting up NFS again)
Da un'altro terminale (/dev/tty2) catto /var/log/messages:
...
Jul 11 10:50:57 (none) auth.err portmap[2131]: cannot bind udp: Address already in use
Ora, il mio scopo è unicamente installare da rete remota,
quando potrei installare dal CD, giusto per prova/studio.
Avete qualche idea sul da farsi?
Sbaglio qualcosa?
Critiche, idee, links, suggerimenti saranno ben accetti.
Ciao e buona domenica.
