per qualche strana ragione ieri ero riuscito a far funzionare la scheda audio (non so come!!!) e ad ascoltare musica... oggi no!

    la scheda dovrebbe essere questa
(lspci 0000:00:06.0 Multimedia audio controller: ALi Corporation M5451 PCI AC-Link Controller Audio Device (rev 02)

    Configuring snd-ali5451
Do you want to modify /etc/modprobe.d/sound?

    al che dico di sì...

    e il simpaticone:
    Running update-modules...
    Loading driver...
Restoring ALSA mixer settings ... failed:
You may want to run 'alsactl restore' manually to view any errors.
    Setting default volumes...
Saving the mixer setup used for this in /var/lib/alsa/asound.state.
    /usr/sbin/alsactl: save_state:1061: No soundcards found...
    ================================================== =============================

Now ALSA is ready to use.
For adjustment of volumes, use your favorite mixer.

    Have a lot of fun!

capisco che have a lot of fun ce l'ha lui che mi prende per il culo...

    come suggerito dò un
    # alsactl restore
    e mi becco questo:
    alsactl: load_state:1134: No soundcards found...

    controlla cosa dice /etc/modprobe.d/sound

    deve esserci scritto

    alias snd-card-0 snd-ali5451
    alias sound-slot-0 snd-ali5451

in /etc/modules aggiungi qualche riga con scritto

    snd-ali5451
