    [ot] lista programmi

    salve gente! mi sono comprato un libro sulla sicurezza di linux, e mi è uscito un cd pieno di programmi per la sicurezza solo che le descrizioni di essi sono in inglese, e , cercare su internet le loro descrizioni mi risulta complicato(connessione gprs 2k effettivi di trasmissione dati al secondo).

    vi riporto la lista, potete dirmi, quali conoscete e cosa fanno?

    si, ma è il terzo libro nella mia scaletta, che devo studiarmi

    1) linux, guida di riferimento
    2) le reti, di peter norton
    3) linux, massima sicurezze

    tutto condito con

    appunti di informatica libera
    vari howto e manuali scaricati da internet
    forum html.it -> linux

    e ho tempo di studiare dal lunedi al venerdi x circa 2 ore libere al giorno

    per il 2010 finisco di studiare e divento 1 sistemista

    E` l'autore di minix e gode di un certo prestigio nell'ambiente. Ha criticato linux ma non mi risulta che abbia mai provato a segargli le gambe, anzi.

    Per il libro sui SO sarebbe meglio prendere la seconda edizione (prima italiana, quella con i sorgenti di minix), se possibile.
