MB Asus a7m266 VS Athlon XP 2000 Thoroughbred 0.13y modèle 8

Ciao.
Sono disperato.
Ho una scheda madre asus a7m266 che montava un processore
Athlon XP 1700+
1467 MHz 11x 256 Kbytes 266 MHz Palomino 0.18

un bel giorno il pc inizia a puzzare di bruciato...quindi lo smonto e vedeo ad occhio nudo che il processore è andato...
ora ho trovato un Athlon XP 2000+
1667 MHz 12.5x 256 Kbytes 266 MHz Palomino 0.18

ho setto il moltiplicatore, ho portato il voltaggio a 6v come da inidicazioni tecniche del processore ma la macchina non da nemmeno il bip iniziale .....
vorrei chiedervi qualche consiglio.....come diavolo muoversi?

prova ad aggiornare il bios

non fare pazzie, al massimo sarà 1,6...

scarica il nuovo bios e prova a bootare da floppy...

se proprio il post non va a buon fine avrai bisogno di un processore un po' datato in prestito...

cmq è strano...se andava con un 1700+, dovrebbe andare anche con un 1900+

moltiplicatore e tensione sono ok.
almenochè non sia morta anche la scheda madre
ma bo...non mi sembra che abbia sanni....(ad occhio nudo...)
come potrei effettuare dei testss?
