Siccome ho un hard disk sata stato riconosciuto con /dev/sda, quindi pensavo che le porte usb fossero identificate con /dev/sdb per caricare PenDrive USB.

Ho chiesto anche su questo forum e mi stato confermato.

Provando per non c' stato verso di far accettare il montaggio.

Ecco com' configurato /etc/fstab:

/dev/sdb1 /mnt/fischietto vfat noauto,user,iocharset=iso8859-15,umask=000,exec 0 0

Ho 4 porte USB sulla scheda madre + 2 collegate alla scheda madre ma presenti sul fronte (quelle che vorrei usare):
n la prima sul retro n la prima sul fronte mi hanno permesso di montare pendrive USB, che si trattasse di drive di memorizzazione o lettore MP3 appena preso :cry: .

La versione del kernel 2.4.29, quella predefinita insomma, in fase di installazione ho solo scelto di usare il kernel sata.i anzich bare.i.

io proverei anche con sdc1, cmq vedi pure cosa ti dice un bel cdrecor -scanbus fatto da root

Tieni presente che il masterizzatore su /dev/hda, mentre il lettore su /dev/hdb.


Modificando /etc/fstab specificando /dev/sdc1 il risultato del montaggio stato:

mount: /dev/sdc1 is not a valid block device

(non ho riavviato il pc o la sessione per, dipender da quello? continuo a sperimentare intanto)

Ho anche provato a dare dmesg, mentre ho attaccato il mio lettore mp3 portatile, ecco il risultato:
