Problema prima configurazione vsftp con slack

Salve a tutti!

Come scritto nel titolo, ho un problema con la configurazione di vsftpd. Praticamente, ricevo una sorta di errore nel momento in cui tento di lanciare il comando ke andrà ad eseguire il server, questo:

# chroot /chroot/vsftpd /usr/sbin/vsftpd

che mi restituisce questo errore:
500 OOPS: unrecognised variable in config file: local_enable

se commento local_enable in vsftpd.conf e rilancio il server ottengo sempre lo stesso errore solo ke questa volta al posto di local_enable ho write_enable!
Come mai ste variabili non vengono riconosciute?

P.S. A dimenticavo per configurare il vsftpd.conf ho usato una guida che ho trovato su slacky.it!
