[windows 95] finestra richiesta password

Ciao a tutti.
Il coniuge si è preso un altro PC ricondizionato e con win95 tutto a 200 eu...

il fatto è che questo PC proviene da una LAN e ogni volta che lo accende gli si presenta la finestra password

poi basta chiuderla senza inserire nulla e si prosegue.

il coniuge chiede:

"come si fa a togliersi dalle palle sta finestra in maniera che non compaia visto che è inutile?"

impostazioni > pannello controllo > password?

impostazioni > pannello controllo > rete?

dove? e poi?

<<Windows 95 stores your password in a file that has the extension PWL. The first part of the filename will be the same as your user name. For example, if your user name is Bob, then your password will be stored in a file called BOB.PWL. You'll find this file in the Windows folder.

To remove the password prompt, begin by deleting your PWL file. Next,
restart your system, and you'll see the Enter Windows Password dialog box. At this point, simply click OK -- don't type anything in the Password text box. You'll never be prompted for a password again.>>


Il prcedimento è quindi questo:

1) cancelli il file .pwl
2) riavviando il sistema, apparirà di nuovo la schermata ed occorrerà metterci una username e premere Invio per la password
3) chiederà la conferma: ripremere Invio
