Screen not found

Salve a tutti ho una geforce 4 MMX e ho appena configurato XFree su una debian, per all'avvio il server crasha dandomi l'errore di screen not found... Qaulcuno sa dirmi quale possa essere il problema?

non so aiutarti nello specifico perche' non mi intendo di schede grafiche, pero' butta su una knoppix e copiati il file di conf di X che ti fa.

Sicuramente potrebbe non essere la piu' ottimizzata delle conf ma poi ci lavori con calma usando X

Acc... Ho girato un p; per casa ma on riesco a trovare il cd con Knoppix....

Possibile che abbia sbagliato a mettere l`indirizzo del bus? Non ero tanto sicuro quando l`ho inserito e non so da dove cambiareil valore...

dai un dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86

da li puoi inserire anche il bus se vuoi o provare i driver nv
