[Gentoo] Installare gnome

Attualmente uso kde 3.2 ma vorrei provare gnome ... solo che ho un problemino non riesco ad emergerlo ..

se provo ad elinare il pacchetto mi da ...

 bash-2.05b# emerge --unmerge x11-themes/gnome-themes-2.8.2

la versione stabile è la 2.10.0

Sto cercando di configurare la scheda di rete pcmcia usando la guida di gentoo...

se do ifconfig ... non mi compare eth0 ....

come faccio a verificare se la mia scheda è supportata da pcmcia-cs ?
