Ciao a tutti uso da poco linux, e vorrei cambiare la risoluzione del mio video!!
Ho un lcd 18" con scheda video ati radeon 256 mb, edito il file xorg.conf scrivendo in modes 1152x768 salvo il file ma nn riesco a selezionare la nuova risoluzione.
Inoltre come faccio per cambiare la frequenza di refresh a 75 hz?

Inoltre ho al momento due hd uno da 80 gb e l'altro da 120 gb!!
Nel primo ho due partizioni quella con linux e una fat32.
Il secondo è formattato in ntfs e vorrei installare windows xp perchè mi servono alcuni programmi!!
Inserito il cd di windows xp mi dice che nn può far partire l'installazione perchè ci sono dei problemi con l'mbr...
Praticamente ha problemi per sovrascrivere la partizione di boot? Come posso fare per installare il sistema?
