Records inesistenti o cancellati

Ho un problema con questo codice:

Set rs = DBConn.Execute("SELECT * FROM messaggi where id = "&cod&" order by DData asc")

nel sens che quando la condizione prevista nella query non è soddisfatta, il codice restitusce:

Error Type:
ADODB.Recordset (0x800A0BCD)
Either BOF or EOF is True, or the current record has been deleted. Requested operation requires a current record.

Dove sbaglio?

L'errore non lo dà in quella riga ma sicuramente in un'altra quando usi il recordset.

Evidentemente rs non estrae nulla....

Prima di leggere i dati delrecordset, controlla che ce ne siano.

Set rs = DBConn.Execute("SELECT * FROM messaggi where id = "&cod&" order by DData asc")
if not rs.eof then
   ...
   ...
   ...
else
   response.write("Nessun messaggio presente")
end if

  response.write "KO"

Set rs=DBConn.Execute("SELECT * FROM messaggi order by DData asc")

La riga dell'errore è questa:

Response.write rs.GetString(,,"</td><td>","</td></tr><tr><td>","")
