salve a tutti!ho letto diverse discussioni su come settare rwin e l'mtu e cosi ho fatto ma... ora vi spiego.
ho alice a 4 mega,e 3 pc in rete sotto un router
ho settato l'mtu nel router a 1500 mru 1500 e poi sono andato a modificare rwin nei vari pc! risultato solo in 1 dei tre computer sono riuscito a variare l'rwin portandolo a 253440 e negli aqltri 2 pc mi salta fuori 90048...
l'mtu nonostante impostato a 1500 nel test di speedguide mi da 1480 in tutti e 3 i pc.
dove sto sbagliando? ho fatto tutto da guida di fivendra.

RWIN is not fully optimized (even though it is a comparatively large number). The unscaled RWIN value is lower than it should be. Also, RWIN being close to and above 65535 does not justify the header overhead of enabling TCP Options. You might want to use one of the recommended RWIN values below.
For optimum performance, consider changing RWIN to a multiple of MSS.
Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:
506880 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 8)
253440 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 4)
126720 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 2)
63360 (MSS x 44)
