Montare Chiavetta usb in SUSE 10

Salve, non riesco a montare la mia chiavetta usb
preciso che altre chiavette si installano automaticamente
La mia chiav. è una VERBATIM da 1 GB
Quelle che si installano sono di dimensione max 256MB,

come avrai capito sono molto scarso con Linux//

Ciao, sul forum non ho trovato nulla che può aiutarmi.
infatti ho inserito la riga sul file fstab e mi da questa dicitura: attenzione: non c'e' un 'codice di interruzione linea' alla fine di /etc/fstab
che cosa vuol dire?

che hai sbagliato a scrivere!

allora:

avvia il pc; inserisci la chiavetta (aspetta che lampeggi);
da console digita "dmesg" senza le virgolette e ci posti le ultime 15 righe della schermata che ti apparirà;

devi ricompilare il kernel inserendo (staticamente o meno, fai un po' te) il supporto per l' USB Mass Storage e per gli host controller EHCI
