Buon giorno a tutti,

(incomincio presto perchè -si dice - le ore del mattino hanno l'oro in bocca ... speriamo bene ....)

Da tempo sto cercando di creare un filmato (divx, DVD, non importa ...) partendo da immagini jpg od altro formato grafico. usando svariati programmi e procedure, ma sempre senza successo.

Ultimamente, ho letto l'articolo "Trasforma le foto in dvd video" sul numero di Giugno 2006 di Linux Magazine usando "slideshow Creator, un "Front End" grafico per DVD-Slideshow.

Dopo aver installato tutti soft richiesti (tutti partono e sembrano funzionare regolarmente), aver creato la struttura di dir e subdir come indicato nell'articolo ed aver seguito il tutorial ivi presente, il comando "Create slideshow" produce l'output seguente che si interrompe con l'errore "**ERROR: [mplex] Unable to open file /home/giorgio/temp/slide/temp/video.mpg for reading. .

Il primo comando che da errore che ho trovato è il seguente:

Indicano che qualcosa non funziona, ma cosa ? Potrebbe essere questa immagine dscn0070-r.jpg che non va bene ? Eppure è una normale jpg con dimensioni 768x576 (PAL) che si vede con tutti i visualizzatori.

Inutile dire che sarei molto grato a chi mi sapesse dare una utile indicazione su come risolvere, oppure una strada da seguire (possibilmente verificata e che funzioni) per riuscire a creare sto benedetto filmato.

( i miei amici windosiani incominciano a sghignazzare ...)
