[C#]: LDAP e autenticazione

Salve :-) allora io devo fare la connessione ad un server LDAP e finchè si poteva fare il login anonymous tutto ok:
DirectoryEntry rootGPA = new DirectoryEntry();
DirectorySearcher searcherGPA = new DirectorySearcher();

adesso ho i seguenti dati di accesso:

cn=xxx,o=CBI
password: nokia
porta: 14000

e da quello che ho capito dovevo scrivere così

DirectoryEntry rootGPA = new DirectoryEntry("LDAP://indirizzo.dom.it:14000/,o=CBI", "xxx", "nokia");
DirectorySearcher searcherGPA = new DirectorySearcher();

però mi da il seguente errore:

The requested authentication method is not supported by the server

sapete come fare ???? ho cercato su internet ma non sono riuscito a risolvere :-)

LDAP funziona solamente su macchine Win2000 e Win2003 ovvero macchine che supportano WMI, sei sicuro che non è una macchina NT4?

beh con LDAP browser della softerra riesco a loggarmi e a vedere tutto...... :-P

e allora stai ravanando in un server remoto ... ma la porta 14000 è aperta sul firewall?

così mi da questo errore
